Thank you for taking the time to view my online portfolio. To introduce myself, my name is Mandy Matzek. I have lived here in Prescott, Wisconsin my whole life. If you ask "what is the meaning of life?" I would tell you that it is my two sons and husband. We are blessed to live near our parents/grandparents, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends. I love the community I live in and am an active member of my town, schools, and church. I truly believe that “it takes a village”. The honest and hard-working values of a farming family and my little village of citizens has taught me responsibility, respect, honesty, and integrity. And yes, as a true Wisconsinite, I love my Packers, Brewers, and Badgers.

I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in Marketing Communications. I worked at Target Corporation in Minneapolis, Minnesota for almost six years. This was an opportunity of a lifetime! I was able to learn and work on direct and e-mail marketing programs, from beginning to end, at one of the world’s top retailers. I learned a plethora of analytical skills and standards on what it takes to execute a smart and financially responsible campaign. Target is known for its extraordinary marketing programs and I am proud to have had the opportunity to work on many successful projects.

It was shortly after my first son was born that I realized that my new blessing took precedence in my life over my corporate career. Yet, I still felt that there was a way that I could balance motherhood and the desire to find fulfillment in personal ambitions. With prayer, a supportive husband, and a few friends who took the plunge with me, M-Vision Web Design was born. Over the years, web design has grown to be only a portion of my work. With experience, growing skills, and client collaboration my work has evolved to assist in cohesive messaging and branding for my clients’ marketing. I find myself spending equal amounts of time developing branding through graphics, marketing elements, web design, photography, social media, and e-commerce.
